About the project
İstanbul İstanbul is a residential project developed by Koray on a 100,000 m² plot in Kemerburgaz, north-west of Istanbul. According to Koray, construction started in 1999 and was completed in 2002; the architect is C.M.L.A. Architects and Planners. Housing types range from small studio apartments to detached villas with six bedrooms. The project has a 10,200 m² pond crossed by bridges and an 8,500 m² social facility with outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a spa, a kindergarten, squash courts, restaurants, fitness, tennis and basketball courts and a multi-purpose hall. The project won first prize for best residential development at the 2002 MIPIM awards.
