About the project
The Ritz-Carlton Residences Istanbul is a single-block residential project at Valikonağı Caddesi No:108 in Nişantaşı, Şişli. It was created by redeveloping the Valikonağı building, designed in the 1970s by Doğan Tekeli and Sami Sisa, to a design by Tanju Özelgin after Bilgili Holding acquired it in 2014. Its 121 residences across 22 floors comprise 31 unit types from 1+1 to 4+1, including 6 penthouse triplexes and 8 garden duplexes. The building also contains office and retail space facing Valikonağı and Hakkı Yeten avenues. Shared amenities include an indoor pool, spa, Turkish bath, 24-hour fitness centre, 24/7 concierge, valet, a brasserie, a children's playground and a private screening room. According to Bilgili Holding the building was completed in 2022; the project carries the Ritz-Carlton brand under a licence agreement signed in February 2019.
